Thoughts on the Selflessness Gateway

The insights and abilities attributed to magicians and spiritual masters flow to us, as do all things, from the limitless reserves of Source or All That Is. When a proper gateway is established, this energy and knowledge will flow freely. For great power to serve in love and with respect for all beings, with the intention to heal and uplift the planetary consciousness as a whole, a proper balance must be established before the higher gateways are opened.

The seven colors identified in the spectrum of visible light correspond to the chakras, the body’s energy centers. The evolutionary purpose of life is not merely to activate all these chakras, as some proponents of kundalini work sometimes mistake, but to activate them in harmony. “The mind/body/spirit complex is not a machine but… a tone poem.” - The Ra Material, Book II. 

Selflessness is a gateway. I define a gateway as a sequence of expansion and collapse, as in manifest, unmanifest, manifest or unmanifest, manifest, unmanifest. Therefore the enlightened being creates gateways effortlessly - manifests or unmainfests effortlessly - being awake to the truth that all places are here, all is at once unmanifest and manifest but by free will we choose our perceptions in the field of consciousness.

Therefore as we wake up to greater consciousness we work with gateways until this knowledge is reasserted within us. One such gateway as I said, is selfishness/selflessness. A simplified outline of a life story might go like this: Selfish infant survives, then child learns “selfless” behavior to survive in family/society, then adult is pressed to relearn honest expression of needs and desires by the loving forces of fear and resentment. Now awake and self-healing, the adult begins to hear another call - that of giving to others not out of fear or to maintain self-approval but out of a universal love that is ecstatic and its own reward

It is no secret that many beings are awakening to conscious certainty of being here on this Earth to help others, including humanity, nature, and numerous subtle beings existing in the various planes of the Earth. This awakening, when it comes, includes in most cases a call to action. Self-improvement and knowledge are sought, no longer to better one’s own quality of life, but to offer to others. Even joy, though now sought with great fervency and truthfulness (about one’s true needs and desires), is sought for the sole purpose of offering to others or to the planetary sphere as a whole.

Those who were delighted to find that the legitimacy of needs and wants must and should be honored, who healed themselves and “worked on” themselves, are often astonished to find another gateway. But the pleasure of living the path of love on Earth is that on Earth, forgetful of our true natures, we round each bend on love’s path and awestruck, fall to our knees and smile and weep.

Consider now the crystals, as I have heard shamans say, the Stone People. All beings are one being and all love flows to to the self. Therefore the crystals, offering freely their harmonious structure and radiant beauty, earn great merit by their presence among us. Jewelry is a traditional gift because regards of the motives of the giver, the jewel itself is always a powerful presence of its own, most often a harmonious and loving one. Let your motives be as pure as your gift. Let your gratitude be as pure as the gift. Be inspired by the humble crystal; it is willing to remind you of the love that asks nothing in return, the ecstatic universal love that is its own reward.
