Psychic Analysis of Objects - Introduction

My next series of posts deals with psychic perception, and specifically with psychic analysis of objects and energy fields, as I do to create and evaluate magic amulets. First we will discuss the value and underlying mechanism of psychic power.

It is not necessary to have “special” powers or be versed in metaphysics to choose a crystal for an amulet, a favorite color, or even a patron god or goddess. As I discussed before , our ever changing natural likes and dislikes are in fact the product of our metaphysical double - our magician-self - and as psychic as any closed-eyes prediction would be. On the other hand, I believe that consciously using our psychic abilities under the name of psychic abilities is valuable not for more accurate results (though labeling our inner knowledge magic power is, need I say it, empowering), but because it brings us closer to identifying with and uniting with our magician self, a coming together that weakens the veil between the worlds and feeds that hungry longing for magic, love, and light that operates at the core of every soul. Therefore our conscious development as a psychic can be seen as direct progress along our chosen spiritual path.

We have already a full and complete psychic understanding, not only of the physical objects around us and their corresponding metaphysical currents, but of the celestial objects and beings, angels, demons, and gods/goddesses, and even, in our own inner stillness, of their totality, as unmanifest silence and infinite creation both. The universe, “plicable” and explicable both, exists as a function of our own consciousness; all existence is dependent on our experience of it. This is necessary to understand because we already possess all knowledge relative to all things; we do not seek for something outside ourselves when we use any psychic power.

Now that we see psychic abilities are both valuable from the important perspective of spiritual evolution, and inherently available to all conscious beings, we will move on in my next post to some simple exercises. We’ll be down in SoHo separating the cursed from the lucky antiques in no time!
