Reading List - Scottish Charms and Amulets
Hi everyone!
While I'm busy getting ready with my 2018 collection (introduced here ) for the Awaken Wellness Fair in Tarrytown, NY on April 22nd, please enjoy this delightful 1894 treatise, Scottish Charms and Amulets which records many local legends and pieces of folklore pertaining to magic amulets. Many of the spells, concepts and symbols described echo similar practices around the globe, including outside of European or Christian cultures, so a particular connection to or fascination with Scottish customs is not a requirement for enjoyment.
